Rome-Bologna match predictions

Both teams competed domestically and in Europe this season.

Roma ranks 12th in Serie A with 13 points from 11 matches. In Europe, the Romans have five points from four matches in the Europa League and are in 20th place in the renewed tournament.

To add more salt to the wounds, city rivals Lazio sit at the top of the table.

Bologna is not very successful either. They are in 9th place in Serie A with 15 points. They have a game in hand after their 9th leg home game against Milan was canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

In the much tougher Champions League table, they sit 31st with just one point after four matches.

Moreover, La Rossa has not yet scored a goal in the Champions League this season. They are the only team out of the 36 teams in the expanded group that failed to find the back of the net in the competition.

Moving on to the game, this looks like a must-win game for Roma manager Ivan Juric.

There will be an international break after Sunday’s game and this could be the ideal time if the Romans want to make a new management change at the Stadio Olimpico.

The problem is that Roma have already thrown away former legend Daniele De Rossi this season. His replacement, Juric, has only 11 games left in his reign. But with just four wins he is already under extreme pressure.

Last Sunday’s 3-2 defeat against Verona will not help much. Especially considering that Roma were better in the match but failed to capitalize on many of their chances (they had 14 to Verona’s 7).

Their profligacy in front of goal was punished when Abdou Harroui scored the winning goal for the home side two minutes later.

The 1-1 draw with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League on Thursday was also disappointing.

In this situation, Roma got a late draw in the 77th minute thanks to a goal from Gianluca Mancini with less than 15 minutes left in the game.

Bologna is not doing so well. However, they could point to an improvement in form with back-to-back wins in their last two Serie A fixtures.

After a five-game run without a win in all competitions, La Rossa won 2-0 away at Cagliari on Matchday 10. They then beat Leece 1-0 at home on Matchday 11, earning them only their third Serie. Win of the season.

They were defeated once again in Europe on Tuesday, this time losing 1-0 at home to Monaco.

The biggest problem for Vincenzo Italiano’s men in Serie A is turning draws into wins; They may have only won three but they only lost once. They have six draws to their name this season.

According to team news, Artem Dovbyk and Paulo Dybala will return to the starting line-up for Roma after starting the Europa League match on the bench. Mario Hermoso and Alexis Saelemaekers are injured.

Bologna captain Riccardo Orsolini started on the bench in the Champions League defeat against Monaco. He needs to return to the starting 11 in Rome. Orsolini has been in good form, scoring three goals in his last three Serie A games (four in total this season).

Rome-Bologna betting tips

Roma are in bad shape. In their last match at the Stadio Olimpico, they managed to beat Torino 1-0. However, this victory came between the 5-1 defeat against Fiorentina and the 3-2 defeat at Verona last weekend.

Bologna appeared to have turned the corner in Serie A with two wins. But just when things seemed to be heading in the right direction, things took a turn for the worse in Europe again on Tuesday. You can find our Rome – Bologna betting predictions below:

To draw

We already know that Bologna are Serie A’s draw specialists, with six of their ten matches played this season. Roma are not far behind, they have four of their eleven games under their belts.

Moreover, this is a match that Roma coach Ivan Juric cannot afford to lose. With tension in the air, we expect his team to be cautious considering their situation following the latest results.

Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano would probably happily take a point from the capital after collecting six points from his last two games.

A draw is not ideal for either team. But given the current situation of both teams, this seems like the most likely outcome.

We drew with SBK on 23/10

Under 2.5 goals

Frustrated relationships can often lead to a lack of action and a lack of goals.

Both teams cannot score many goals. Roma have 12 matches from 11 Serie A matches, while Bologna have the same number from 10 matches in the domestic league. Neither team conceded many goals; Rome received 14 points and Bologna 11 points.

Only two goals were scored in Roma’s last two home matches in Serie A.

Bologna, on the other hand, scored less than 2.5 goals in seven of its last eight matches in all cups.

We really can’t see many goals in this match and there is no evidence to justify betting on 6/5.

Returned to under 2.5 goals with 7/10 with SBK

Riccardo Orsolini scores goals whenever he wants

There are some top players in this match who can break the deadlock and eliminate the gloom for both sides.

Roma have top scorers Artem Dovbyk and Paulo Dybala. Bologna has Riccardo Orsolini in form.

Artem Dovbyk has four goals this season. He has 25/37 to score at any time. Paulo Dybala has two goals in nine Serie A games and has 43/20 against Bologna.

However, the player in the best form is Riccardo Orsolini. He scored three goals in his last three matches in Serie A.

The Italy and Bologna wide player also has good odds at 16/5, making it worth a small bet on him continuing his good form.

Riccardo Orsolini to score at will with SBK 16/5
