MUSKEGON, Michigan — A former Muskegon County pastor has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

Daniel DeVries, who works at Unity Reformed Church in Norton Shores, was arraigned in March and given a $25,000 bond.

DeVries pleaded guilty this week to one count of child sexual abuse material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime, the Muskegon County District Attorney’s Office said. Initially, three of each were charged.
