KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knoxville Police Department says it responded to a “serious” crash Saturday afternoon.

KPD reported the crash just before 3 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. on Parkview Boulevard. He said he closed the Boulevard.

While no additional information about the accident was released, authorities asked drivers to stay away from the area and seek alternative routes.
