He pleaded guilty to five more charges in the same court on 18 October.

Northage twice targeted Blacks at Wheeler Gate on 5 September and 17 September, breaking a window on both occasions.

Approximately £500 worth of clothing was stolen in the first burglary, while goods worth a total of £1,858 were stolen in the second.

On September 14, Northage walked out of JD Sports in Riverside Retail Park wearing a £150 jacket he had not paid for.

He also burglarized twice from Metro Fashion on Middle Pavement on October 9 and 13, stealing a £1,200 coat and other items worth £410.

Judge Shant described Northage’s disturbing past as “significant”.

He issued a Criminal Conduct Order banning Northage from entering the city center for three years.
