MONROE COUNTY, Michigan (FOX 2) – A dispute early Thursday Monroe County The incident progressed to a woman stabbing her husband.

Authorities said the victim called 911 around 2:20 a.m. and asked police to respond to the 6800 block of S. Telegraph in Bedford Township. However, he did not cooperate and hung up the phone.

After several calls, the man eventually said he had been stabbed and multiple Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded. When deputies arrived, they found the man’s wife had grabbed the knife and stabbed him in the hand during an argument.

The 37-year-old suspect was arrested on charges of assault with intent to cause bodily harm less than murder.
