FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash at 1:26 a.m. on Sunday, November 10th.

Virginia State Police are investigating a crash on Booker T. Washington Hwy just north of Harmony School Road.

According to Virginia State Police, a driver of a 2012 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on the highway. Police said the driver ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a tree.

Hardy’s driver, Tyler Austin Wade Hale-Camp, 29, died at the scene. Police said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

The investigation into the accident continues.
