BRILLION, Wisconsin (WBAY) – A crash occurred on US 10 WB at County Road D in Calumet County near Brillion on Wednesday at 2:24 p.m.

Auxiliary agencies included the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department, Hollandtown Fire Department, Harrison Fire Department, Brillion Ambulance and ThedaStar.

One person died in the crash, state police said.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a sedan driven by a 70-year-old man from Brillion was traveling west on US Highway 10 when the sedan left the roadway, struck a culvert and rolled over on Country Road D.

The 70-year-old man and the sole occupant were medically removed from the scene and suffered fatal injuries. The name of the person involved in the incident is not being released at this time.

The Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit assisted in the investigation of the crash.
