LA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) — Vivian Crowder, 71, of La Mesa, who has dementia and diabetes, has been missing since Oct. 29. The family, growing more worried with each passing day, is now asking the public for help in the search.

“It’s indescribable, but we have to keep going,” Lonnel Crowder said. “We have to keep going until we find him.”

If there were one word to describe the last six days, Lonnel would say they were devastating.

“It is, my friend,” he said. “I haven’t slept much. So let’s hope he comes back to us.”

His sister Vivian, 71, has been missing since last Tuesday. Vivian’s relative, Freda Hamak, spoke to her that morning.

“‘I love you. See you later,'” Freda said, remembering the moment. “And he waved. ‘I love you too!’ “That was the last time I saw him.”

Freda said Vivian’s cousin took her to Natura, a hair removal and skin care spa in the 8200 block of La Mesa Boulevard.
