October was a very interesting month in gaming, with many major games released during its 31-day period. So which ones should you buy? Check out our list below!

#10 Red Dead Redemption

Some games are so iconic that you can’t resist porting them to new platforms whenever the opportunity arises. Red Dead Redemption has finally arrived on PC/Steam, and that means if you haven’t taken on the John Marston quest before, you can now do so on your PC!

While Marston tries to live a quiet life with his family, he has to defeat former members of the gang he is in: the Van Der Linde Gang. Get on your horse and shoot anyone in your way.

Then join the undead expansion campaign and see if your shooting is good enough to take out the zombies!

#9 Batman: Shadow of Arkham

The fact that we put any VR headset on this list should tell you a lot. After all, VR games are supposed to be “the future,” but the number of people playing them is small.

But with games like this Batman: Shadow of ArkhamYou’ll see the appeal of wanting higher quality VR games. The game takes place within four games of “Arkham World” and you will become Batman once again as you try to learn the truth behind the mysterious Ratcatcher!

#8 Until Dawn

There will be a lot of remakes and remasters on this list and until dawn falls into the remake category of the party.

The game is a complete visual remake of the original horror game; it allows you to see events in more detail and also to see more emotions of those involved in terrible events. The title places you within a group of friends returning to a winter vacation one year after terrible events took place.

But events are now happening to all of you and you must learn the truth about what really happened a year ago and try to save everyone. Your choices will determine your entire destiny.

#7 Life is Strange: Double Exposure

Max Caulfield is back and his powers will be more important than ever. Life is Strange: Double Exposure emerges. The story begins with Max finding the body of his dear friend Safi, who died as a result of a mysterious attack. Just when he feels like all is lost, he unlocks a new version of his power that allows him to enter an alternate reality where Safi lives!

Now he must go back and forth between two versions of reality to find the truth about who killed Safi and why, keep her alive in this new reality and take his revenge in the other.

All is not as it seems, so dig deep to find out what really happened!

#6 Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil

We are sure many of you are unhappy with this Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil it’s on this list, but you can’t deny that it’s one of the biggest releases of October, and there are at least some people who like it, so just putting it here is enough.

The long-running Bioware game has changed its story, characters, gameplay, etc. over the years of development. It has undergone many changes, including: Your mission is to assemble a team to defeat a threat of terrifying proportions. Something that could destroy the entire world while corrupting those within it.

So stand up, fight and do what you need to do to eliminate this terrorism.

#5 Silent Hill 2

Numerous remasters and remakes were released in October, but arguably the best Remake of Silent Hill 2. The complete visuals and gameplay of the all-time classic PlayStation 2 game that horror fans still praise today. You play James, who is searching for the truth about his wife. When he receives a letter from the woman inviting him to Silent Hill, he sets off without delay and finds himself in a town full of monsters!

Chief among these is the terrifying Pyramid Head. So what is it about this town that brings out the worst in him and others? What is the truth hiding inside you? You’ll have to play to find out.

#4 Sonic x Shadow Generations

To be honest, it’s a bit ironic that Sonic x Shadow Generations is on this list because it’s something old and new at the same time. On the one hand, the game reimagines previous “Generations”, bringing together old and new Sonic The Hedgehog to fight a familiar threat. There’s also brand new content that further expands Shadow The Hedgehog’s origin story.

Most people are only interested in Shadow content, and that’s okay with us. After all, Shadow will be appearing in the upcoming live-action movie, which means people will want to “see what he’s like” before heading to theaters to see him in a different kind of action.

#3 Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

We speak really reluctantly Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 because the game is frankly not that different from the others that came before it. Sure, it’s better than last year’s entry, but that’s an incredibly low bar to clear, so it doesn’t really count.

Anyway, in the main scenario you are set during the Gulf War, where things are complicated all over the world and you need to find the truth in order to clear your teams’ names.

Honestly most of you will buy the game for its multiplayer modes and zombie battles and we can’t blame you for that. What if you want? Come on!

#2 Dragon Ball: Spark Zero

Yep, we’re putting this on the FPS title. Take care of it! Dragon Ball: Spark Zero It was a game that had many franchise fans excited almost from the word “go.” It promised to be something fans of all ages could get into, and it backed that up by having a cast of over 180 characters, including some from non-canon films that not everyone had seen.

Then, “What If?” With story scenarios, a powerful tournament mode, custom matches you can create and more, you have arguably the most solid game the series has ever produced. Oh, and it sold 3 million copies on launch day. This is pretty cool too!

Considering that Atlus’ newest game could be “Game of the Year” in 2024, it’s only fair that we talk about it. Metaphor: ReFantazio in the last slot. The game adds a unique and more personal touch to the developer’s fantasy and RPG styles, and it packs a punch to great effect.

You play a person trying to become the king of a land. But to do this, you cannot fight your way to victory; You have to win people over! You’ll build your personal crew, strengthen your “Archetypes” in battle, and do what you need to do to ensure the country has a ruler it can be proud of.
