A new ITV psychological thriller will tell the terrifying true story of a serial killer known as ‘The Scalp Hunter’.

The name alone is enough to send shivers down your spine, and the more you read about the case, the more you’ll feel the urge to hide behind your couch before performing the stunt.

The ‘scalp hunter’ is a famous serial killer named John Sweeney. was killed multiple people over several years.

Sweeney’s victims had one thing in common: After killing them, Sweeney would behead them.

He cut up the bodies of his victims, most of whom were his girlfriends, and threw them into the river.

One of Sweeney’s surviving victims, the focus of the show, is Delia Balmer, who was confined to a bed for days by the serial killer.

ITV it’s called a show Until It Kills Youand focuses on Balmer’s relationship with Sweeney and his subsequent capture by him. Here is the trailer:

After she was trapped in a room by him for four days, he freed her but later attacked her with an axe. He escaped with the help of a neighbor who attacked Sweeney.

The show is currently entirely on ITV X. The first episode aired last night, November 3, and ITV will air one episode each night throughout the series’ four episodes.

A review of the series on IMDb gave it a 10/10 rating and said: “This is not an easy show to watch for a variety of reasons. Nor should it be.

“It’s frustratingly realistic. Sad. This is very scary. It’s really happening. I began working with victims of serious abuse in 1990. It was my job to make amends to the victims somehow.

Till I Kill You is now on ITV X and will air on ITV 1 at 9pm for the next three nights.
