Police say 2 San Francisco Walgreens committed apparent robberies within an hour of each other

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — A pair of Walgreens stores in San Francisco were hit with apparent robberies on Saturday.

An employee said a large group of teenagers ran into the store on Mission Street near First Street around 3:30 p.m.

The suspects examined the display cases and started cleaning the cosmetic shelves.

They left a huge mess behind as they ran out of the store with several bags full of products.

About an hour later, a second store at Market and Ninth Avenue was also attacked.

Police said the incident occurred around 16.45 when a large group entered the store.

Video shows them trying to smash open storefronts.

You can see them taking what they can and putting the items into bags.

The group then heads out the door and towards Market Street.

Police announced that no arrests have been made so far.

The store was also hit by a mugging and smashing robbery on Friday, a security guard said.
