Two women believed to be victims of human trafficking have been rescued from a property in south Belfast.

They were found following a search of a flat in the Annadale Embankment area of ​​the city on Friday night.

Two men, aged 42 and 41, and a 39-year-old woman, who were arrested during the police operation, were released on bail pending further investigation.

They were questioned about a number of crimes, including running a brothel and controlling prostitution.
