Recently internal sources claimed that: InTouch Weekly It didn’t help DeGeneres that their marriage was “in terrible shape” after the special.

“To put it mildly, Ellen’s Netflix special has done nothing to reverse her bad reputation,” the source said, noting how this particular fiasco has intensified talk among Ellen and Portia’s friends who remain in Hollywood that their marriage is in terrible shape…..People can tell something’s ‘wrong’ because “They’ve never seen Ellen like this before.”

In fact, insiders claim this DeGeneres will not be in the spotlight Up front, she and de Rossi are allegedly considering doing something many celebrities have already done: a skincare line.

“Ellen starting a skincare business with Portia smacks of desperation and suggests their house is going to hell if they need this new project to work on,” the source added. “This truly is the strangest marriage in Hollywood because of the crazy schemes Ellen has dragged them into as a couple, and many of Ellen’s side hustles evaporated after her scandal.”

For those who don’t know, DeGeneres and de Rossi started dating in 2004. They married four years later in August 2008 at their home in Beverly Hills.
