NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman is facing four felony aggravated assault charges for shooting into a vehicle with a child and three adults inside, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD said Laronica Hawkins, 32, was in East Park on Woodland Avenue on Oct. 3 when she pulled out a handgun and began shooting at the occupied vehicle.

Police officers stated in the arrest report that Hawkins and the adults in the vehicle knew each other. MNPD said all three provided officer Hawkins’ information and corroborated each other’s statements about what led to the incident.

Hawkins is being held in the Davidson County jail on $120,000 bail.
