In his letter, he said airlines should not be allowed to raise prices above a certain limit, even when demand is high.

“We are concerned about the fluctuation in flight prices. In the last year alone, flight tickets have been increased by 40 percent. Airlines should not make exorbitant and arbitrary price increases.”

He said although private airlines use government-built airports and runways, it is never generous to offer passengers even free coffee, tea and some snacks.
