COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Police Department says a pedestrian was injured in a hit and run Monday night.

Police said they were alerted to the crash at Circle and Pikes Peak around 8:05 p.m.

The car hit a pedestrian, and the driver fled the scene. Police said the pedestrian suffered a broken leg.

As of 9:35 p.m., police said they were still searching for the hit-and-run driver. The suspect’s description was not released.
