A minor argument over parking turned into a gunfight in Haryana’s Sirsa district, leaving four people, including a school student, injured.

The dispute arose in Nagarana village when a school bus driver named Sonu advised a motorist to pull over to the roadside to allow the bus to pass. Enraged by this suggestion, the driver of the vehicle opened fire on the bus, seriously injuring Sonu, school student Manpreet Singh and two others named Shera Singh and Sukhdev Singh. All four of the injured were first treated at Şirsa State Hospital, but were later transferred to Hisar due to their serious injuries.

According to eyewitnesses working in nearby fields, the school bus was carrying children as usual when it encountered a car blocking the road. The bus driver reportedly politely requested the driver of the vehicle, Satnam Singh, to step aside. However, Satnam Singh became enraged and along with his accomplices stopped the bus and opened fire on the driver. The commotion attracted a large crowd of onlookers.

On receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene, but Satnam Singh and his father Pyara Singh had already escaped. However, authorities acted quickly and caught both suspects.

While the injured were taken to hospital, the investigation continues.
