BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A member of a school boosters club has been arrested and charged with three felonies.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office said members of the Edgewood Athletic Boosters told investigators one of their members spent funds improperly.

Investigators say they learned Patricia Bietenduval had made numerous purchases with the booster’s credit card. He also received a refund. Lawmakers did not say what he allegedly purchased with the cards.

Bietenduval is charged with theft, credit card misuse and receiving stolen property. He was arrested on Wednesday.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
