MOWEAQUA, Illinois (WCIA) — A husband and wife were found dead in a Moweaqua home Wednesday morning.

Both died of apparent gunshot wounds, according to Shelby County Prosecutor Brad Phegley. Phegley said they were found by his sons this morning.

Coroner identifies Decatur home invasion suspect killed in shooting

Danny Trueblood, 47, and Rebecca Trueblood, 44, likely died last night, according to Phegley. The investigation is ongoing, but there is no threat to the public at this time.

An autopsy will be performed on Thursday.

in Moweaqua, Shelby and Christian Counties.
