ORLANDO, Fla. – Authorities in Flagler County said an apparently homemade explosive-type device found at a home early Tuesday morning was seized and determined to be safe.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Burning Ember Lane in Palm Coast, where a “possible homemade explosive-type device” was found.

St. The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded, seized the device, and secured it.

Authorities did not provide further details about the device found.
