Commenting on cars being vandalized with anti-Israel slurs in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Alex Ryvchin, Co-CEO of the Executive Council of Australian Jews, described the incident as “appalling”.

Several cars were destroyed and one set on fire in an overnight attack in Sydney’s east.

Police also found anti-Israel graffiti painted on several cars parked on several streets in the suburb of Woollahra.

“It’s appalling that people living in a leafy suburb of Sydney wake up to see this level of vandalism, a car set on fire, anti-Israel political slogans on vehicles,” Mr Ryvchin told Sky News Australia.

“They felt violated; “They would have been horrified.”
