    One Direction stars at Liam Payne’s funeral

    Members of One Direction were among mourners who gathered for bandmate Liam Payne’s funeral in Buckinghamshire on Wednesday.

    Singers Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson joined other guests at the special ceremony following Payne’s death at the age of 31 last month.

    Before the funeral began, dozens of locals and fans gathered to pay their final respects to Payne, who died on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

    On top of the carriage was a red floral tribute that read “son” and a blue tribute that read “dad”, a reference to Payne’s son Bear, whom he shares with Cheryl Tweedy (Jonathan Brady/PA).
