Drivers are being made Warned to be careful on the roads, external Rush hour continues in the West Midlands this morning following snowfall overnight.

Darren Clark, National Highways’ extreme weather manager, advised motorists: “Keep your distance and reduce your speed, because even under seemingly normal conditions and where snow has not settled, it can be slippery if patches of ice have formed or snow is not falling or where fresh sand has not been worked on the carriageway. “
