DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — On Monday, Davidson County Sheriff’s deputies said Avery Nickolas Rabon pleaded guilty to a charge of Attempted Statutory Rape.

Rabon was sentenced to 157-249 months in the Department of Corrections and was required to register on the Sex Offender Registry for 30 years from that conviction.

Deputies say they first arrested Rabon on July 7, 2023, charging him with First Degree Statutory Rape, First Degree Statutory Sexual Offense, and Indecent Liberties of a Minor.
