Georgetown Co. repeat offender arrested in connection with arson investigation

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – A Georgetown County man is facing increased charges after being arrested for the second time this month and the fifth time this year.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 28-year-old Charles Dylan Lowrimore was arrested again this week in connection with two separate investigations in October.

The first was an arson investigation after deputies found a burning car in a field on Indian Hut Road.

They also linked Lowrimore to a burglary on Gapway Road in October.

He is now charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of malicious destruction of personal property and one count of third-degree arson.

GCSO confirmed that these two incidents are separate from the previous charges.

He is being held in the Georgetown County Detention Center awaiting a bail hearing.

PREVIOUS ARRESTS

Lowrimore has had multiple run-ins with the law this year.

In late February, a spectator was grazed by a bullet outside 3001 Nightlife, a nightclub in the Myrtle Beach area.

Horry County Police named Lowrimore as suspect and charged him with first-degree assault, high and aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Authorities arrested Lowrimore again in late March. It was claimed that he shot himself with an unlicensed gun and lied about it.

Later in May, the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said Lowrimore was involved in a reported burglary on Lamb Road. In this case, the sheriff’s office He accused her of pointing and displaying a firearm.

Lowrimore was last arrested a chase in which he allegedly went more than 100 miles per hour to pass deputies.

Deputies later found him unconscious on the side of the road and found a gun inside his car.
