Customer Shared the Video Claiming He Was Expelled from the Restaurant Because of His Son’s Behavior

A woman claims that after she and her friends were seated at a crowded restaurant, the waiter suddenly took the appetizers and asked them to leave.

He claimed the waiter was worried his friend’s autistic son might disrupt business.

Although the party stormed off and went to another restaurant, viewers were skeptical about what actually happened and wondered what was going on from the waiter’s side of the story.

The woman claimed that she and her friends were kicked out of the restaurant because the waiter thought her friend’s autistic son might start behaving badly.

A TikTok video of the incident begins with a restaurant waiter removing the party’s appetizers and drinks from the table.

“So guys, we’re going to cut this really short tonight,” he is heard saying. It is not known exactly what caused the waiter’s actions before this.

“We will not serve you tonight; Thank you,” he added before taking his things back to the kitchen.

According to the woman who posted the video, they were kicked out because the waitress predicted her friend’s autistic child “was going to become disruptive.”

The party looked stunned that the presenter had kicked them out, including the mother of the autistic boy who sat silently.

Luckily, the little boy didn’t seem to notice the drama going on around him as he sat quietly and played with what appeared to be an iPad.

When the customers refused to get up, the waiter returned and politely asked them to leave again.

“Okay, I really wanted my chicken sandwiches,” said the mother.

Eventually the group split; but not before the mother decides to go to the hosts in front of the house. “I would love for this kid to be able to sit in a restaurant! But not all children are the same!” he shouted.

He continued to shout profanities as he pushed his son out the door of the restaurant in his stroller.

The group ended up at another restaurant called Ora, where the mood did a 180. The little boy was seen laughing while his mother played peek-a-boo with him.

I couldn’t let some stupid thing ruin the night. The food was better anyway,” the woman shared in the text overlay of the video.

Although he expected the audience to be on his side, most were not convinced he was telling the truth.

Many felt that the client left out important details about the incident and chose to only film himself being thrown out.

“There’s more to this story we haven’t heard,” one TikTok user commented.

“I work in a restaurant; We endured so much. “There’s definitely a lot more to this story,” another user wrote, with other restaurant employees chiming in, claiming they would never pick up customers’ plates from the table and ask them to leave unless there was a valid reason.

Luckily, viewers were able to use their detective skills to piece together what might have actually happened.

Some people claimed that the restaurant looked like Houston’s Restaurant, an upscale dining establishment from Hillstone Restaurant Group.

According to the company’s guidelines and standards, parents are strongly discouraged from bringing young children.

“Our restaurants are generally not the best environment for young children. “We welcome families, but we ask parents to keep their children at the table and calm any noisy babies or teenagers outside the dining room.” According to their website.

Although the woman’s son seems calm and quiet in the video, the truth is that we have no idea how he was acting before the incident.

Children often have difficulty sitting still in restaurants, especially child-friendly establishments and do not provide menus and coloring pages for children.

It is possible that the little boy showed angry behavior and his mother refused to take him out, distracting other patrons from the meal. Their behavior may have escalated to the point where the waiter had no choice but to ask them to leave.

“I went to Houston, you have to have a REALLY bad attitude for them to ask you to go,” one TikTok user said.

“They don’t play games in Houston,” another wrote.

Others claimed that the waiter’s reaction had nothing to do with the child and pointed to a wine glass on the table that was apparently not served by the restaurant.

“I wonder if she brought her own wine… especially considering this is one of those things she reaches for specifically and the glass is too full for a restaurant,” one TikTok user commented.

“The way he held his wine glass for the first time tells me everything I need to know,” another user wrote.

Typically, restaurants don’t like having customers pay for the items they serve if they bring their own food and drinks.

After much speculation in the video’s comments section, the woman finally told her version of what really happened before filming.

The anonymous woman who originally posted the video added more context to the video in the comments. He claimed that the group asked the waiter for a high chair for the little boy. However, they did not have it because it was not a child-friendly facility.

The mother asked if she could sit in the stroller instead, but the waiter said how that would block the aisles of the restaurant, preventing staff and customers from passing. This seems like a valid reason to deny the request because it’s a organizational responsibility.

When the mother insists that her son sit in the stroller, otherwise his son have a “meltdown” The group was asked to leave on the grounds that the restaurant was not the best environment for an autistic child.

While the poor mother probably felt like she and her son were being left out, if such a thing actually happened, parents should always be careful about which restaurants they take their kids to.

Check out the restaurant’s website before you go. Check the menu to see if they offer a kids’ section or a meal your child will eat. Ask if they have high chairs or special accommodations for children.

Crowded restaurants are not playgrounds, and most Young children find it difficult to sit still In noisy and crowded environments for long periods of time, especially those on the spectrum.

As a parent of an autistic child, it’s always important to make sure a restaurant won’t be too overwhelming for them and that their accommodations can be covered before bringing them.

The customers in this video deserved a peaceful, stress-free meal, but so did their fellow diners who probably did it too. I don’t want to deal with the screams and having to wade through strollers clogging the aisles.
