TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of multiple homes being shot at in Tabor City.

According to the sheriff’s office, a witness called deputies around 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 18 and reported: Several houses across the street in the 3900 block of Wright Road were hit during a drive-by incident.

When deputies arrived, the witness showed them fresh bullet holes in three homes and a shed. I rescue bullets from two houses.

While there was no injury, the investigation into the incident continues.
