Celebrating 75 years in the business, the Seddiqi family spent more than a year and a half compiling, servicing and certifying nearly 300 Rolexes, each one ostentatious. Many are rare, many are bejeweled, some are incredibly collectible vintage pieces, and some are simply beautifully preserved examples (for example, I tried a GMT Master Coke that was crisp, clean, serviced, and ready to roll).

Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons has very realistically put the ideal of the Rolex CPO boutique on the map as the destination for serious watch collectors. Located outside its flagship boutique in the city centre, the CPO boutique is located in Dubai’s Wafi Mall; One of the city’s oldest shopping malls with its own origin and atmosphere. The boutique is gorgeously appointed after recently being redecorated in preparation for the CPO launch.

Take a moment to check out all these vintage and neo-vintage Rolexes preparing for sale: First they need to be purchased; That’s no small feat, considering what’s on offer here; from very rare bejeweled Daytonas to Day-Dates with onyx and malachite dials and smaller models with extraordinary (and extremely rare) woven bracelets. All of these watches need to be authenticated with Rolex, then serviced and brought to the best possible condition, then returned to the store, catalogued, photographed and finally priced and sold. It’s easy to see why it took a year and a half, and no other Rolex CPO program has offered this level of curation.

The watches below are just a small part of the approximately 300 watches that were offered for sale after the boutique’s opening. We photographed them in Dubai before the launch; It’s a rare privilege to spend time with what we estimate to be the most impressive pre-owned Rolex watches in the world right now.
