Ferguson had an 11-yard reception on the night and is now out of this marquee matchup against the Houston Texans. Ferguson has 358 yards on 42 receptions so far on the season.

The third-year tight end is coming off a solid 2023 season in which he threw for 761 yards and five touchdowns.

Spoke to Ferguson Newsweek Sports In an exclusive interview, he talked about losing Dak Prescott this season and what the team needs to do to move on from having a 3-6 record. You can read the interview by clicking Here.

The Cowboys need a big win on Monday Night Football to bounce back for the 2024 season. Their 3-6 record is odd considering the team usually starts seasons strong. To make matters worse, it will be difficult to catch the top two teams in the NFC East.

Philadelphia Eagles are in first place with a score of 8-2, followed by Washington Commanders with a score of 7-4. The Cowboys fall too far behind to catch either the Eagles or the Commanders.

The Cowboys will face the Texans on Monday night and it will be a tall order. The Texans are one of the AFC’s best teams and have a 6-4 record. However, they are 1-3 in their last four games and have been struggling lately.

The Cowboys will need to play complementary football to knock off a Texas team that has playmakers on both sides of the ball. CJ Stroud, Nico Collins, Joe Mixon and Tank Dell lead the offense, while Will Anderson Jr. leads the defense. and stars like Danielle Hunter.

The Cowboys will have to try to beat the Texans without the help of Ferguson, who is now out. Dallas has been plagued by injuries for much of 2024.

The Cowboys lost linebacker Sam Williams before the start of the season, and star cornerback DaRon Bland also suffered a stress fracture that kept him out of the start. Additionally, DeMarcus Lawrence remains on IR with a foot injury.

Micah Parsons missed several weeks with a high ankle sprain and Prescott had season-ending surgery after suffering a serious hamstring injury. For now, the Cowboys just need to hope everyone can contribute to an upset win.
