Harris County Deputy District Attorney Jay Gordon said detectives will continue to review the evidence as well as evidence from other cases.

“There have also been some reports of other similar sexual assaults that occurred around the same time in the same area,” Gordon said.

A second suspect was arrested Friday night in connection with the attacks in the West Bay Bank area. Jayden Jercoyus Demouchet was charged with burglary of habitation.

Demouchet was expected to appear in court on Monday but was not physically present. Prosecutors gave detailed information about the case.

Prosecutors said Demouchet sexually assaulted women while he was on the run. That’s how police found him after receiving calls that he had attacked two different women at the Little York Apartments in Concord on Friday.

A neighbor told KPRC 2’s Corley Peel that she saw Demouchet walking around without pants moments before the defendant attacked.
