Half-burnt bodies of the couple were found in the house in Nalanda

Patna: The half-burnt bodies of a couple were found in their house in Nalanda’s Dogi village on Monday morning. It was claimed that they were killed and their bodies partially burned in order to destroy the evidence. The incident took place in the district Chhabilapur police station area.
The identities of the dead were stated as Vijay Prasad (54) and his wife Kanti Devi (50). While the couple was home alone, their son lived in another house in the village.
The couple’s son, Vipin Kumar, said, “I walked from my house to check on my parents. The door was open and I noticed blood flowing from the drain. When I went inside, I saw my family engulfed in flames. I immediately called my mother, my siblings and I screamed for help.” Hearing the noise, the villagers gathered at the house in a short time.
