Snowfall warning issued in Calgary and the region

The dreamy weather Calgarians enjoyed in the first half of November came to an end Monday morning.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) released a statement at 2:55 a.m. snowfall warning Up to 10 centimeters of snow is expected to fall in Calgary throughout the day.

The agency said snowfall will be heavier in the morning and will ease later.

ECCC said the most challenging part of the day may be the morning rush hour commute.

“Be prepared to adjust your driving to changing road conditions. Prepare for rapidly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.”
