SHOCKING CCTV footage captured the moment an angry driver slammed a man to the ground “like in a WWE match”.

The man was seriously injured and taken to hospital by police following the attack in Solihull, Birmingham.

The video shows the attacker grabbing the man from behind on Hytall Road just after 6pm on November 7.

The man is then picked up and slammed violently to the ground, landing on his head; He remains unconscious and bleeding heavily.

Eyewitnesses claimed the attack resembled “something out of a WWE match”.

After the fight, the attacker quickly jumped into the minibus and fled the scene.

An eyewitness close to the scene told BirminghamLive: “The man was walking down the road with his girlfriend and we heard a man shouting.

“One of the guys said: ‘I thought it was over. I thought this was settled?'”

The Solihull resident described the attack as a “wrestling kick” and said the woman was screaming and shouting.

Police teams arriving at the scene found the person unconscious and bleeding from his head.

This caused the police to take the man to the hospital instead of waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

A police spokesman told The Sun: “We were called to Hytall Road, Solihull, shortly after 6pm on November 7 after a man was found seriously injured.

“Officers arrived at the scene and found the man, who was taken to hospital.

“Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.

“An investigation has been launched to find those responsible and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact us via 101 or Live Chat using log number 4074 of 7 November.”

Paramedics were called to Hytall Road where they examined another patient who was discharged at the scene.

The Sun has contacted West Midlands Police for comment.
