Three teenagers allegedly stabbed a female security guard working at Auckland’s LynnMall.

Police were called at 6.30pm on Sunday as the teenagers, aged 13 and 14, were trying to steal from Woolworths in the Great North Rd shopping centre.

This was the same supermarket targeted by the terrorist attack in September 2021. Islamic State supporter Ahamed Aathill Mohamed Samsudeeen stabbed five people before being shot dead in the supermarket.

Three young people were arrested following the stabbing incident last night.
