BUTLER, MO. (KCTV) – An eight-year-old and a nine-year-old boy were seriously injured in an ATV crash Sunday morning.

according to Missouri State Highway Patrol, The crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on November 17.

Two teenage boys were riding a 2002 Honda Rancher ATV on County Road 6002 when the 8-year-old driver pulled into the path of a 2004 Ford F250.

After hitting the truck, the ATV went off the road and overturned. Both children were taken out.

None of the children were wearing safety devices and they suffered serious injuries, MSHP said. They were taken to Merhamet Children’s Hospital by ambulance.
