No surprises among inactive Vikings ahead of showdown with Titans

The Vikings are in full swing heading into Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

There were no surprises in the pre-match inactivity report. Last injury report of the week It did not contain any description of injury. Quarterback Brett Rypien, cornerbacks Fabian Moreau and Dwight McGlothern, defensive lineman Levi Drake Rodriguez, center Dan Feeny and Walter Rouse were among the Vikings listed as inactive for Sunday’s game.

Meanwhile, the Titans listed cornerback L’Jarius Sneed as inactive. Sneed, who missed practice for most of the week and was ruled out before the game, will miss his fifth consecutive game. Offensive tackle Leroy Watson IV was also removed from the game and listed as inactive. The Titans’ other inactive players include running back Joshua Kelly, linebacker Justin Hardee Sr., linebacker Cedric Gray, offensive lineman John Ojukwu and tight end David Martin-Robinson.

There were several injury assignments for several key Vikings throughout the week; those include quarterback Sam Darnold (hand), running back Aaron Jones (rib), left tackle Cam Robinson (foot), linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (hip) and tight end Josh Oliver (wrist/hand), but all were injured Friday. There was no report. Linebacker Gabe Murphy, who is in the middle of a 21-day practice period to return from injured reserve and has yet to make his NFL debut, was ruled out before the game.

That means the Vikings are as close to full health as they can be for Sunday’s matchup against the Titans. They will be looking for their third consecutive win at noon kickoff at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn.
