The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection with the discovery of the body of an 18-year-old woman.

On Friday, deputies announced that the body of Sydney Bisson of Charlotte was found dumped near Highway 105 in Boger City.

It was announced that 34-year-old Gregory Clifford Houser was wanted on charges of concealing a death and failure to report a death.

Houser was last seen in Stanly County on Friday, according to deputies.

Missing woman’s remains found near Catawba County creek

On Saturday, the sheriff’s office contacted Houser, who agreed to surrender.

He was later taken into custody at a relative’s home on Clemson Lane, according to deputies.

Houser is being held without bail at the Harven A Crouse Detention Center, deputies said.

There are also charges pending in Catawba, Mecklenburg, Lincoln and Gaston counties.
