Haryana News: A group of Class 12 students of a school in Haryana were suspended after they allegedly detonated a remote-controlled firecracker-like bomb under their female science teacher’s chair as part of a misguided prank.

It was stated that the students, who learned how to make explosives from tutorials on YouTube, carried out dangerous actions that could lead to serious consequences.

This shocking incident parallels another related case in Mumbai, where attackers linked to the murder of politician Baba Siddique were found to have used mobile phones and social media platforms such as Snapchat and Instagram to communicate. It was revealed that the accused attackers (Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap) also used YouTube videos to learn shooting techniques.

Both incidents highlight the disturbing trend of individuals using online platforms to learn dangerous skills, with serious repercussions.

Bomb Hoax Threatened: Teacher escaped unhurt

The incident came to light when students who were upset after being scolded by the teacher decided to respond to him with a joke.. While one student placed bomb-like fireworks under the teacher’s chair, another detonated them with a remote control. Luckily, the teacher escaped uninjured and no damage was caused in the explosion.

“It could have been a disaster if the teacher had been sitting,” a source said. “But luckily he was away from his desk at the time of the explosion.”

Students Turn to YouTube for Bomb-Making Training

According to reports, the bomb looked like a typical firework and was detonated remotely, making the prank even more risky and pre-planned.

“Learning how to make explosives on the Internet is not just reckless; incredibly dangerous,” said one education expert. “This prank could easily have gone wrong.”

Haryana School and Education Department Takes Quick Action

In response to the shocking prank, the Haryana education department took immediate action and suspended the 13 students involved for a week.

Confirming the suspension, District Education Officer Naresh Mehta said: “These kids had learned all this from YouTube. “If they had made and presented a model, we would have honored them, but now this matter has been closed with a warning.”

Haryana Science Teacher Forgave His Students

While the students faced suspension, the teacher concerned showed remarkable tolerance by forgiving the students.

According to the information obtained, the teacher did not pressure him to be expelled from school after the incident, despite the seriousness of the joke.

“There were discussions about deporting them,” Mehta said. “However, the parents apologized and made a commitment, promising that their child would not behave like this again.”

Haryana Panchayat Debate Begins

Following the incident, a panchayat meeting was held in the local village to discuss the students’ actions. At the meeting, it was revealed that 13 of the 15 students in the class were aware of the prank and either directly participated in it or encouraged it.
