LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – A man with an active criminal warrant was arrested in Liberty County on Friday.

Liberty County Sheriff’s Office deputies said they located Victor Herndon at a residence in Bristol. Deputies said Herndon allegedly tried to hide but was quickly found and taken into custody.

Authorities said Jessica Anderson, who was also at the house, tried to escape but was taken into custody. Anderson is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.

Herndon is charged with two active felony warrants, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest with violence. Deputies did not explain what charges these arrest warrants were related to.
