An education official has demanded that schools show a preaching video of himself praying for Donald Trump and ‘waking up’ teachers.

Oklahoma’s superintendent of education Ryan Walters emailed school districts to let them know they should play the video for students and parents.

Walters, sued for demanding schools include the Bible in lesson plans, blames schools ‘radical left’ And ‘I woke up teachers’ unions for ‘attacking religious freedom’ in the video.

The email blast also invited students to pray for Trump and the country.

But schools in the area backtracked and argued Walters did not have the authority to ask them to ‘break up the school day’.

Walters justified his request by arguing that ‘students’ rights and freedoms regarding religious freedoms are under constant attack’.

He promised that the newly created Office of Religious Freedom and Patriotism would “prevent any attempt to undermine the fundamental freedoms of our Oklahoma students.”

One of the department’s first steps, he wrote, was to require all schools in Oklahoma to ‘play the attached video to all enrolled children.’

Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters sent an email to local schools imploring students and parents to play along with politically charged messages along with a video of himself praying.

‘We want our students to be patriotic. “We want our students to love this country, and we want the religious freedoms of all students to be protected,” Walters said.

Walters also wrote that schools should also send the video to parents and encouraged but did not require students to pray with him.

In the video, Walters sits at a desk introducing the new episode and blames ‘far-left’ liberalism for the lack of patriotism in schools.

‘We have also seen patriotism mocked and hatred of this country enforced by woke teachers unions. “We will not tolerate this in any school in Oklahoma,” he said.

‘We want our students to be patriotic. ‘We want our students to love this country and for all students’ religious freedoms to be protected.’

Walters then announced that he would pray and told the students that they did not need to attend, but they could if they wanted.

‘I do not impose a single religion on a child or family. This means no matter what your religion is, no matter what your belief is, if not, it’s completely up to you. “We’ll protect your ability to use it,” he said.

He bowed his head and prayed for Trump and his team to “continue to bring change to the country.”

He also prayed for education and ‘quality lives’ of parents, teachers and children.

‘I also pray that we continue to teach patriotism to our youth, that our students understand what makes America great and that they continue to love this country. “Amen,” he concluded.

But public schools in the state were not ready to implement his demands.

In a letter to parents, Mustang Public School officials said they ‘do not plan to interrupt the school day to show or send videos and will instead use this time for curriculum.’ KOCO.

Yukon Public Schools officials also declined to show the video and said they wanted to focus on the curriculum approved by state lawmakers.

Norman school officials said they ‘maintain an inclusive environment that does not promote or threaten religious beliefs’ and will continue to offer students a moment of silence each day.

According to KOCO, Edmond Public School officials said they would not show the video, while Oklahoma City Public Schools officials said district leaders would meet on Friday to discuss action plans.

Walters told the press that he was aware of “rogue investigators” who he claimed wanted to “impose a left-wing agenda on his children.”

‘(They) like to continue to push state-sponsored atheism in our classrooms, citing all kinds of invocations of God, but we will not tolerate this,’ he said.
