Delhi Police arrests two brothers for stabbing a 28-year-old man in Nand Nagri

Delhi Police arrested two brothers, Arbaaz and Salman, in connection with the stabbing death of 28-year-old Manish in Nand Nagri area.

An argument broke out between Manish and a friend while he was traveling and his friends reportedly stabbed him.

According to police officials, the victim and the defendant knew each other and police are investigating the source of the conflict. Both the accuser and the victim have a criminal record.

“Initial investigations suggest that the murder may be related to an earlier fight,” police said.

Shooting in Delhi

Meanwhile, according to Delhi Police, one person was injured in a shooting at a gas station in Gokulpuri on Thursday night.

“One person was injured in a shooting at a petrol pump in Gokulpuri.” “Four people appeared on two motorcycles and a rider sitting on the back opened fire,” Delhi Police said, adding that the injured person was not in danger.

It was stated that the injured person’s name was Ansul Rathi. At 10.38 pm, Delhi police received a call reporting that 7 to 8 gunshots were heard at a gas outlet in Gokulpuri.

“Ansul Rathi was shifted to GTB hospital by PCR after suffering minor injuries from glass shrapnel in the abdominal area. He has been working as an auditor for six years. Initial investigation revealed that four men on two bikes came to the petrol pump and one of the drivers behind was towards Gokulpuri and the other towards Loni junction He fired 16 bullets into the office cabin from outside before escaping, Gokulpuri pump owner Harish Chaudhary suspected of traditional local rivalries.” Delhi police said.

According to police, the victim was not in danger and Harish Chowdhary, the owner of the targeted gas station, is facing a number of charges. Further investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, in response to the rise in fire and snatching cases in the national capital, senior Delhi Police officers visited the scene to assess security preparations. Senior police officers, including DCPs, assessed the police spotters and instructed them to be careful in every scenario.
