Small business Lucky Goldie is bringing unique jewelry pieces to the Bay Area this holiday season at its newly opened charm bar

SAN CARLOS, Calif. — New pop-up charm bar offers a personalized jewelry experience in the Bay Area. Lucky Goldie launched in April 2024 and gives customers the chance to design jewelry that tells a story.

Owner Anastasia Volynsky said: “It’s always fun to hear people’s reactions when they see a particular talisman. Sometimes it reminds them of their childhood or it’s like two close friends walk in and they say, ‘Oh, remember when we did that?'”

Volynsky hosted a pop-up at JoeyRae Boutique in San Carlos and brought dozens of charms and basics for people to customize. Customers choose their jewelry, place it on the base, and Volynsky creates the piece right there.

Although the business is new, Volynsky said she started making jewelry when she was just 10 years old. “My mom and I would always go to trade shows like gemstone fairs, and I remember we built up a huge jewelry collection from that.”

Soon Lucky Goldie’s popularity grew thanks to the support of other small businesses.

“I’m here at JoeyRae Boutique, they’ve been very supportive and have had me here many times and I think we’ve built a great relationship and I’m always meeting new customers and getting opportunities to meet them. It’s really important for small businesses to support other small businesses because it’s a community build and help each other grow,” Volynsky said.

With the holidays approaching, Lucky Goldie is a festive addition to the party. Volynsky said she does corporate parties and holiday parties in addition to pop-ups at boutiques like JoeyRae, but if you miss a pop-up, you can still shop for the perfect holiday gift. online here.

Volynsky said his goal with Lucky Goldie is to continue to build a community by hosting quarterly parties. The next event is Girls’ Night on Friday, November 22. Guests can create their own piece with a ticket and explore other small business opportunities there as well.
