FRANKLIN COUNTY, Illinois (KFVS) – Crews responded to a crash that closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 57 near mile marker 68 Friday evening.

According to Illinois State Police, Troop 10 responded to a four-unit crash on Friday, Nov. 15, at approximately 4:06 p.m.

ISP said non-life-threatening injuries were reported at the scene.

Lanes that were initially closed were reopened at 5:05 p.m.

According to an alert from the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency, the crash happened between West Frankfort (exit 65) and Benton (exit 71).
