‘All you can eat’ Asian cuisine will open its doors in Minot early next week

MINOT, ND (KMOT) – The Magic City is adding more flavor to the restaurant scene with the opening of a new Asian restaurant at Dakota Square Mall early next week.

The one-of-a-kind restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat experience for $20 to $30.

Do Eat has a mix of Japanese and Thai cuisine.

“Think of it like you would order a fixed-price meal. Essentially at a lower cost,” said general manager Kiky Rizky.

More than 200 guests can be accommodated in an area of 6,000 square meters.

The problem is, this is not a buffet. You choose from their menu and the servers come back after the first round to ask if you want another.

Owner Kobie Lin owns Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar in Kobe, and his partner owns Oahu Hawaiian BBQ and Thai Cuisine in Bismarck. After nearly three years, Lin decided it was finally time to give Minot residents something they had never had before.

“To have a completely new experience, unlike other sushi or steakhouses: you order, you pay one price, but you are limited to only one item – but I want them to feel that, you pay one price, but you can try many items before ‘I’m afraid to order ‘ Lin said.

The manager’s goal is to ensure that guests have an unforgettable experience and come back again.

He said there is demand for this type of cuisine in the region.

“Stay curious and keep coming back. We are making long-term efforts. Satisfaction is good, yes, but we strive for the long term,” Rizky said.

Meals are prepared fresh upon order.

Do Eat will open early next week.

It replaces the former Grizzly’s restaurant across from Old Navy in the Dakota Square Mall.

They also offer takeaway and à la carte options.
