WEST BROOKFIELD, MASS. (WHDH) – Jurors found 38-year-old Mathew Locke guilty on all charges of first-degree murder in the 2018 deaths of a West Brookfield mother and her three children.

The trial lasted about four weeks, with jurors deliberating for about 10 hours before reaching their verdict.

Locke was also found guilty of armed robbery and arson.

The bodies of Sara Bermudez and her three children – James, Madison and Michael – were found dead in their West Brookfield home more than five years ago.

Locke is Sara’s husband’s cousin.
