New counseling center opens in Princeton, bringing services and raising awareness about mental health

PRINCETON, W.Va. (WVVA) – Aspire Counseling held its ribbon cutting ceremony at 152 Misty Lane in Princeton.

The center offers counseling services focusing on trauma and grief treatment, anxiety, mood disorders, depression and neurodivergence.

Ten clinicians work at the practice; half work with children and teens, the other half focus on adults.

Their goal is to provide high-quality, sustainable mental health services.

Haley Myers, owner and clinic director of Aspire Counseling, grew up in the area and shared that this dream was not only her own, but also one that her late father dreamed for her.

“My father, who passed away a few years ago, always hoped that this would be my goal. He and I had the idea of opening a mental health practice here, and one door after another opened. I don’t just take it as signs, signals from him that this is what I need to do.

Aspire Consulting is open from Monday to Friday between 08.00-19.30.

No guidance is required to make an appointment.
