Nov. 15 — A Bartholomew County man died in a two-vehicle crash in western Decatur County shortly before noon Thursday.

According to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 11:42 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Decatur County Communications, Ind. Received a call reporting a semi-passenger van crash in the area of ​​46 and CR 200 S.

When DCSD deputies arrived at the scene of the crash, both the semi and the van were located in Ind. It was located in an area on the south side of 46th.

It was determined that the minibus driver who was injured in the accident died at the scene.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing, but the initial investigation indicates that the minibus was in Ind. He said he was heading east on 46, Ind., when the semi went left of center and hit the van. It shows he was heading west on 46.

It was stated that the deceased was Marcus Anthony Yano (72) from Columbus.

The driver of the semi was identified as Manav Rai, 23, of Newark, Delaware.
