WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) — The young man, who was taken out of the pond and had life-threatening conditions, was treated at the hospital.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), deputies responded to a report of a possible drowning on Hasentree Road near Wake Forest around 12:40 a.m. Friday.

WCSO said first responders provided life-saving measures to a child found in the pond.

The child, whose life was in danger, was taken to the hospital.

No other information about the teen or the incident has been released at this time.
