A boy has been arrested after a man was threatened with a machete during a robbery in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Police said the man was set upon and his bike stolen in Prestwick Close, Strelley, on Thursday night.

According to police, the incident took place during a meeting to buy an electronic device for the man’s bike.

On Friday, a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Det Sgt Chris Mavers said: “Investigations into this incident are still ongoing.

“We are therefore still very keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this or may have any information that could assist us with our investigations.”
