A 22-year-old from Marlborough, N.H., died in a crash with a school bus in Walpole, N.H., on Wednesday, police said.

At 3:13 p.m., a 2006 Saab 9-3 and a Fall Mountain Regional School District bus collided on Route 12 near Connector Road, Walpole Police Chief Justin R. Sanctuary said in a statement. Police said the Saab was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line and hit the bus.

Dietrich Kern Praska, the driver of the Saab, died in the accident. The school bus driver, Marie Robbins, 65, of Alstead, N.H., was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, police said.
